Vernon Paris is a retired American professional boxer who was born on May 14, 1988, in Detroit, Michigan. He is best known for his impressive career record of 26 wins, 1 loss, and 16 victories by knockout. Paris started his professional boxing career in 2006 and had his first victory over Christopher Knowles.

He went on to win his next 12 fights before he suffered his first and only career loss to Zab Judah in 2012. After his defeat, Paris continued to box for several years before retiring in 2017 after losing his last fight to former WBO lightweight champion Terry Flanagan.

Throughout his career, Paris competed in the light welterweight division and was known for his quick footwork, elusive defense, and powerful right-hand punches. Despite retiring with only one loss, he was never able to capture a major world title.
